Texture Ninja For 3D Designers

Textures over 5,000 at the time of posting – available under a copyright-free CC0 licence. The files are divided into common categories, including brick, concrete, rock, wood, metal, paint, plaster and ground materials, and are typically over 5,000px in width. 3D artist Joost Vanhoutte has created thousands of textures and is offering them for free under a CC0 license, on his Texture Ninja website.

Initially, the project was created as a premium subscription service, but the developer realized he wants to provide a useful service for as many people as possible.

Expresso Photoshop tools for 3D Artists

Expresso is an extension for Photoshop that tries to improve the texturing workflow for 3D Artists.

It provides a set of utility panels that integrates directly into Photoshop to enhance your productivity by speeding up slow, repetitive and error-prone tasks.

Exporter – Automatically export your textures to common file formats (TGA, PNG, etc.) out of PSDs containing multiple maps.

Previewer – Preview your textures in a realtime 3D viewport directly inside Photoshop.
